After probably 20+ hours of time with both Verizon and Arlo support and my own trial and error, and 2 Verizon SIM cards, and a visit to the Verizon store, I give up. Could never get a Verizon SIM to work with the Arlo which is the whole point of getting this camera. I’m throwing it away. I did buy it directly from Arlo but it is represented as a product that will work with a Verizon plan and purchased SIM. It doesn’t.

I am amazed at how great this product is. I can watch my cabin from home and activate a siren if something goes wrong. The video quality is great, and the floodlight works fantastically. The AI features work great...

Embarrassing to ask for review when I never received it!?!

They did a sign only delivery with me not knowing and it coincided with me being out of town and it ended up being returned to sender. This is an embarrassment on their end to even send a product review when the product was never even received and had to be reordered because once it was returned to the sender the order was cancelled.

We have had several of these cameras connected by Verizon cellular for 5 years. (and we don’t even have the best cell service where they are located) Just bought 3 more for different areas and they connected right up to my mobile app for monitoring. 5 star cameras.

The camera does not work without a monthly plan. Total scam. The old Arlo cameras would record to SD card. This camera accepts an SD card but you cannot view recording from the app. Completely useless. All the new Arlo cameras require a monthly plan to operate.

Green corrosion.

It’s a good camera until green corrosion takes over your magnetic power cable and power port. It has happened to me twice. This time, I’m out of warranty.
