Bought this watch with GPS and cellular for my son so we can reach each other while he’s out with friends, going to/from school, practices, etc. It commonly won’t transfer from WiFi to the cellular network automatically causing times where my wife and I can’t reach him via text or call. His location also won’t update during these times. This is disappointing for what is supposed to be a high quality piece of technology. It seems other users are experiencing similar problems for a few years now which is surprising that Apple hasn’t fixed the issue.

I had the watch for one week and screen began to scratch up a lot. Very disappointed. Other than that, watch works well.
- The Vitals app is for wellness purposes only and not for medical use.
- The Cycle Tracking app should not be used for birth control or to diagnose a health condition. Cycle deviation notifications inclusive of perimenopause are for people 40 years old or older.
- Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, or Vietnamese. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages. Some devices may not be available in all regions. Siri AI is available in beta in watchOS 27 and requires an Apple Intelligence–enabled device set to a supported language. Available in English to start. Siri AI will not be initially available in the EU on watchOS. Certain Apple Intelligence features that rely on server-side models are subject to daily usage limits, including but not limited to Siri AI. Yes, I'd recommend this product.
We got this for our 11-year-old daughter so we can text and call and keep track of her when she's not home. She loves it. It's also good because she can leave the iPad alone and still have connectivity. We can track her activity and say, "close your rings before more screen time" and she has a ball doing that. Definitely recommend to folks looking to limit screentime but still keep tabs on their kids.

Spent an hour with this "Tech Coach" trying to simply activate a new Apple Watch. The chat was painfully slow, so assume he was juggling multiple chats. Was assured watch was provisioned and would be ready in 10-15 minutes. We'll, it wasn't and by the time we were done, it was after 8p Central and they were closed. Never pay for this service.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
Bought this watch so that I had some protection if I fall. As a recent widow, live alone, and if I were ill or fell, might not get help for a day or so, which of course could be very dangerous. The watch does provide this sort of assistance.
It is also very large—the smallest Apple Watch, 40 mm, overpowers my petite wrist, and the plastic band is not at all attractive. The band can be replaced, which I intend to do soon, so perhaps the watch will look better.
The watch has many functions I am sure I will never use, and sometimes have had to Google how to stop apps that continue after I want them to stop (such as the exercise app). Not particularly intuitive. Also the watch initially addressed with the name of one of my contacts (why?), until I googled how to fix that.
But all in all a device that provides me and my family and friends with peace of mind, so am glad I bought it.
So convenient!

I bought this for my son. It’s the perfect size for a growing kid, great battery life, very easy to use, text is very accurate, and it gives me peace of mind. It’s the perfect mod point for those of us who aren’t ready to give a child a smartphone.

As we are older adults, my husband and I bought these primarily for the fall detection feature. It turns out they are handy for so many other things. I can quickly screen calls and texts without carrying my phone everywhere. Sending and replying to texts is also very easy and handy. The only downside for me was the terrible band it comes with. I replaced it as soon as possible. Many cute and comfortable choices are out there. I love the watch face choices also
