[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really want to like this watch. The issue that I have with it is the battery life and charge speeds. I chose the Watch9 because I purchased the Fold8 and moved on from my Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel Watch 4, the Fold8 has been an amazing change (other than the camera), but the Watch9. Not so much. I do like having the Blood Pressure monitoring.

To fast charge your new device, please use the dedicated EP-OL300 wireless charger paired with a Power Delivery wall adapter that supports at least 5V/2A. The Watch9 utilizes a proprietary charging layout and a deeper internal sensor stack. Its redesigned health sensors push the internal charging coil further from the outer casing, making the watch incompatible with flat Qi chargers, older watch pucks, and direct phone reverse charging. Read a bit of bad reviews about charging times when purchasing.... I have yet to experience slow charging times its perfect watch lasts about a 36 hours before needing another charge im happy with the health biometrics

I was replacing an older Samsung watch. I will say the style is improved, it seems very respinsive and I love being able to check my blood pressure but I am so disappointed in the watch as a whole. First battery life is almost the same as my older watch maybe an hour + longer. I must charge every day. 2nd This was so important to me - the health features. It does not record my sleep time correctly. I followed the instructions on line to make adjustments but almost every night it has gaps in my sleep. I even tried wearing the watch face on the bottom of my wrist. I clean it every night, I wear it tighter than during the day and still gaps. I have given up wearing it to bed half the time. According to my watch I haven't had a good night's sleep since I got it. Strange as with my older watch I slept pretty good. It seems I am not alone as there are so many posts about this problem. I was expecting so much more from the watch 9, just disapoointed.

When I don't have my phone in my hand I can make and take calls for my watch! I also can check the health numbers on my wrist instead of having to carry my phone all he time. And the option to leave my phone at home or in the car when shopping is a bonus. As the holidays come around and you think about how to be safe when making purchases, never having to take my wallet out of my purse or pocket it top priority. With a flock of my wrist and the safe pin I am able to make my purchase and never expose my wallet. Trust me when I say get the watch. You can thank me later.

Battery life is great and charging speed are great. It does not pick up my sleep pattern at all. It doesnt register I am wearing it for sleep even though it registers heart rate and steps during the day. I have tattoos on both of my wrists on both sides, but my Watch 6 never had a hard time reading sleep. It also doesn't track my son's sleep properly and he has no tattoos.
