We currently have one landline number for 3 wireless desktop phones; 1 hardwired wall phone and 1 hardwired desktop phone. Will this device provide phone service to all five phones we have in the house?

Is the Battery for backup or is it just powered by battery
The Verizon Voice Gateway battery is strictly for backup power during a power outage, not for daily operation. Under normal conditions, the device plugs directly into a standard wall outlet for its regular power.

I have verizon cellular but also verizon home interenet how should I connect this device.
To connect a Verizon Voice Gateway, plug in the power adapter, wait for the status light to turn solid white, and connect your phone lines into the RJ-11 ports. The device links automatically to Verizon's cellular network or via an Ethernet cable to your home router.

Does it support pulse dialing from a connected phone or device in addition to DTMF tone dialing
It does not support pulse dialing such as from older rotary phones for placing calls or navigating automated menus. ~Maria

Should I select “add a new line” when ordering this for it to work with my existing Verizon mobile lines? Or must I choose one of my existing lines?
