Does it support pulse dialing from a connected phone or device in addition to DTMF tone dialing
It does not support pulse dialing such as from older rotary phones for placing calls or navigating automated menus. ~Maria

Should I select “add a new line” when ordering this for it to work with my existing Verizon mobile lines? Or must I choose one of my existing lines?

How many land lines with the same phone number connect to this base?
The standard Verizon Voice Gateway supports up to two (2) active analog landline connections simultaneously. It features dual RJ-11 ports specifically designed for connecting up to two traditional landline phones, fax machines, or a credit card terminal over the Verizon cellular or VoIP network. ~Jorge

Does the new Verizon Voice Gateway (VG10A) have caller ID? And if so, will the caller ID be displayed on the phone handset (based on the phonebook in the phone) or just on the Gateway box?
