Too Heavy and SLOW

Am a long time user of Verizon MiFi units. It was bad enough that the smaller units would heat up. But, this one is WORST!!! Not only is it HUGE and HEAVY. It is SO SLOW TO CONNECT. I use it for travel and it is ANNOYING to keep this unit. I want a SMALLER, Quicker unit.

Find a different unit for on the go connectivity.

If I had known about this unit, I would have not upgraded to it. 1. it is too big and bulky. 2. It is the size of a good sized slab of lunch meat. 3. It is SLOWER THAN A SNAIL IN WINTER connecting. 4. Sure it is 5G, but in usage when traveling it is not quick. 5. Wish I could have know that this unit was going to be the replacement, I would have kept my old unit. At least it was quick.

Worked ok while it worked. Had it for about 2 years, with very infrequent use. Just booted it up as a need has again arisen, and it is stuck on step 2 of 2 on a software update. Have rebooted, yanked battery, held reset button, etc. and same thing. Support just had me do the same things again, didn't have any better solution. I guess its just a brick now. Definitely didn't get my money's worth out of this one.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I have had the same box for over 3 years and it is still going strong. I live in the middle of nowhere and I am able to stream with no issues; live streams work well also. Multiple devices can be connected and it doesn't slow down. I have looked for newer/better devices and can't find one. I don't understand all the negative reviews; I haven't had one problem with mine.

I've only had mine for just over a year and the battery crapped out. Plug it in and it boots up to the batter dead screen and says "charging" but doesn't take a charge and you can't use it while plugged in. Basically a paper weight.

Complete waste of money. It worked for less than 3 years. Bricked while charging. Made it to 80%, then quit. Won't turn on or charge. Tried a battery pull and using the reset button, nothing. Verizon just tries to sell me a new one. All the ones that they carry have terrible reviews. May be time to go to a different carrier.

This mifi box works about 15% of the time, even with great 4G or 5G service. Totally a waste of money, and I do not recommend.

Been using this device for about 4 years. We are able to use a computer and stream on tv like Prime, Hulu, Youtube and many more.

Yes, the Inseego MiFi M2100 5G UW can technically be used 24/7, but leaving it continuously plugged in can degrade the lithium-ion battery over time.To safely run it continuously:Remove the battery: The M2100 can safely operate on wall power (AC power) without the battery installed.Enable Battery Preservation Mode: If you keep the battery in, turn on this mode via the device settings (Menu > Settings) or the Inseego Admin Website to cap the charge at around 70-80%.Adjust Sleep Settings: To prevent the hotspot from turning off after periods of inactivity, update the power settings in the admin portal to "Always On."If you plan to use this setup for a home network or a remote workstation, tell me:How many devices will connect to it?Do you have external antenna needs for better reception?I can help you optimize your network settings for the best performance. ~Jorge

Can you leave it plugged in and on continuously. The one I have now stops charging at 100% and won't start charging again until you unplug it and plug it back in.
