Does the device have a wired Ethernet port or not?

Does the ethernet port come active? Or can i turn it on to add to a router for range?
The device (Orbic Speed X 5G) is setup and functions as an Ethernet connection (no connection software required). Can you remove the battery and leave it plugged in to run 24-7?
Hello, this device has the ability to connect to a direct power supply and work while not having its battery attached to it.
