Constant disconnects from Verizon network

Works great as a local network hub, but its connection to the cell network cuts off 4 or 5 or 6 times per shift, requiring login and restart of the device and interrupting business. It's terrible.

Hello Peter. Thank you for your feedback. Please check your settings on the Sleep Mode. The default setting is for it to go into sleep mode after 10 minutes when there is no activity. You can change this setting to a longer period or "never" go to sleep. Hope this helps. - Kevin.

I have had tbis for about 2 years now and it never did work. I have a 50gb plan and it only let me us 5 - 10 gb before it slows down to almost nothing. Tec support tells me it just a the way the device works. It is not great for my business and it does not hold any battery life. I have no choice but to hold it until the contract is up. However, it is enough to make me hate using this and want to try a different company all together. Ugh!!!!!!!

Bought this for deer camp to stream YouTube TV and it worked great!

Works fine for basic needs. Terrible for gaming.

Unfortunately the tech in this device is old and it is unable to switch to a NAT 2 type. When using to connect my phone to surf the internet, no problems. When trying to connect my portal, it won’t do it. The Portal requires a NAT 1 or 2 connection. This device doesn’t offer that.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. For customization or advanced settings, you will need to connect your Linkzone to a computer. Using the browser, you can enter the menu with URL: 192.168.1.1. In the Network Settings, there are more advanced settings that you can adjust to fit your needs. Hope this helps. - Kevin.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

LinkZone 5G UW WIFI hotspot works great. WIFI signal is strong and stable. Battery life is great depending on usage. I activated the hotspots few weeks ago and so far it's performance is very efficient.

If you are connecting your devices to the hotspot via Wi-Fi, be sure that the Wi-Fi is set up correctly. The device also has a built-in automatic shut down when there is no activity for 10 minutes by default. You can either wake up the device by tapping the power button, or by changing the sleep time to a longer time or never go to sleep. Hope this helps. - Kevin.

Connectivity Issues with New Hotspot

I called because my new hotspot was not connecting. While I think this is a good hotspot and this is a Verizon issue, I'm frustrated I've had it for a month and haven't been able to use it. My issue was not resolved and I have not heard from the elevated technical ticket.

Yes, you can use it while it is being charged. However, the battery charging scheme will be adjusted after a long duration of charging. The device will continue to keep the battery charging between 50-60% to maintain the longevity of the battery life. If and when you need to have a 100% fully charged battery, it is recommended that you turn off the device and allow it to fully charge to 100%. - Kevin.

Our TCL hotspot has a red light showing. What does this mean? It had been turned off and charged overnight and now has a red light and will not turn on or do anything.

The solid red light indicates that the SIM card is not activated or there is no data service. Please check to see if your SIM card is inserted properly and that your plan has data service.
