²Testing conducted by Apple in July 2025 using preproduction iPhone Air units and software while subscribed to LTE and 5G carrier networks, paired with preproduction MagSafe Battery units and software. Tested with screen locked. All settings were default except: Wi-Fi was associated with a network; the Wi-Fi feature Ask to Join Networks, Auto-Brightness, and True Tone were turned off. All charging and battery claims depend on usage, environmental conditions, initial battery levels, network configuration, and many other factors; actual results will vary.

Will this charger attach to the back of the phone if you have a case attached?
iPhone Air MagSafe Battery was designed to attach directly to your iPhone Air or through a case with MagSafe. If you use any other case that holds items like credit cards, remove them before charging with your iPhone Air MagSafe Battery.
