The charging cable is capable with the iPhone 7. I usually do not use another product that is not an iPhone product due to I had another one and it caused another one of my iPhones to overheat. I would advise to use only as a temporary backup charging cord.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
This was fine as a cable. I ended up buying a black one at another store because the white was so noticeable in my black-interior car. It worked fine, however.

Jay at the Grossmont Center in La Mesa, CA waited on me. He was not knowledgeable, experienced or honest. He sold me the wrong cable, quoted me a new fee for changing my Verizon service that is $28.00 more than he told me. He did not give me a printed explanation of charges. I'm ticked!
