Better than the more expensive version

Fisforfrank - 30 days ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I have a Samsung phone and wanted a pair of headphones that I wouldn't mind losing or damaging on my bike commute. I really liked the previous Pixel Buds but sometimes the bluetooth would cut out while riding. The reviews mentioned that the new A-Series had better bluetooth, so I went for it and I am happy I did. These headphones are quite similar to the more expensive version but I think they are much better in most ways. They are lighter, feel more comfy in my ears and the connection with my phone is awesome. Music sounds great. The case back is magnetized (weird and cool) so I can stick it on my metal desk, in my gym locker, and such.

Almost Perfect

Great all-around buds that are easy to set up and use. Very comfortable fit and great sound made even better with base boost turned on. Appreciate decent passive noise isolation but little to no clogged feeling, as well as adaptive sound. The latter works great while listening to an audio book on a walk. I can hear approaching cars, but the sound is boosted briefly so I can also still hear the audio. I also find myself using Google Assistant frequently while using the buds, and auto pause when one bud is removed is something I look for in an earbud. The only thing missing is volume control on the buds, but Google Assistant works for that as well. Very happy with these!

Excellent sound, battery life

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

These pixel buds paired instantly with my pixel 5 and when I wanted to pair them with my pixelbook that was easy too. No complaints on the sound or battery life and the controls are easy -- I particularly like being able to long press to access the Google Assistant.

Great to have ability to control music, get help from assistant without touching your phone. Secure even during runs and great for sports.

Better connectivity, great sound

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I still have the original pb2s that sounded fantastic but unfortunately had major connection problems, mainly when outdoors or at the gym. These new buds are working much better, with only a few minor drops, about 1% of the time vs the old ones. Otherwise, I don't miss the slide feature or the wireless charging. I think the ambient sound algorithm is a bit too aggressive but otherwise really enjoying these buds
