Thanks for your inquiry. Our GG, TL, and CS models come from different production centers i.e. different suppliers to fulfill the production capacity but the product specification should be the same. Products from different suppliers are just having different execution in the design but the quality should be identical. We hear you. To control our JBL Charge 5 it must be connected first to the device and the JBL Portable App. It can be turned off by the app but you'll have to turn it on manually. The JBL Charge 5 uses Bluetooth to connect with devices. For how many Bluetooth connections your computer supports, you'd need to consult with the PC's manufacturer. -John
