Product liability waiting to happen

I had to leave a review. The refurbished pair I received are absolute garbage. Sound quality aside (there is zero bass) they will randomly squawk a high pitched very loud noise directly in your ears. This is a product liability suit waiting to happen.

We'd like to work with you directly on the issues you are experiencing with your JBL Endurance Peak 3. We need to determine the common denominator. For example, if it only happens on a certain album, you may want to adjust the EQ to boost the bass a little bit while listening to that album. But if it only happens when you are using a specific streaming service or app, you might want to check with the service or app to improve the sonic quality. However, if it appears to be completely random, try boosting the low-frequency settings in the EQ to find a happy medium so that a typical recording sounds more full, but recordings with extreme bass are not excessive.

Ive owned these for over a year or two, and JESUS because of the logo being engraved one of the earbuds just constantly triggers the tough controls. NOT MATTER HOW MUCH I TRY CLEANING THEM IT STILL TRIGGERS THE TOUCH CONTROLS!!! the sound quality is average, and as far as I can tell they're durable, the battery life is amazing too. but no matter how good all of that is, I cant justifiably rate them higher since I can only use one at this current point

I’ve had a pair about two months now and they are highly problematic. Huge charging issues and left earbud has lowered Db levels. Do not buy!

Thanks for your feedback. If you're experiencing a charging issue, clean the contact pins on the case and earbuds using a cotton swab with alcohol. These pins are sensitive to dust. Please ensure the pins are dried before placing them back in the case. If you're experiencing low volume you may also try resetting the unit. With both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If the issue still persist, please contact our customer support.

I’m happy that the units stay in place however I’m really disappointed that it doesn’t come with additional earbuds of different sizes. The wind noises because of the poor bud fit makes it difficult to hear and because of that I’m only giving it a 3 star.

To achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. Be careful around water

I bought these earbuds for exercising and because I am constantly around water, especially in the summer. While they initially worked well with clear sounds and connectivity, once they got wet (for far fewer than the 30 minutes advertised) the sound, quality and connectivity all but disappeared. Presently, I can barely hear the music assuming they connect to my device. Although they are advertised as waterproof mine do not appear to be!

Thanks for your feedback. In order for your JBL Endurance Peak 3 to give you the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. First, try to angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal then gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. Next, you may also check the balance control on your source device by going to the "Accessibility" settings on your music player app, commonly found in the playback or EQ settings, and the balance control on the JBL Headphone App. Lastly, try to connect the headphones to a different device (phone/tablet/music player) to see if it fixes the problem. Additionally, this is the most common reason for no sound/lack of sound issues. A simple cleaning will almost always fix this problem. Please click on the link below for detailed online instructions. I was convinced I was going to love these but even with the smallest ear grommets, they still don't fit into my ear. They have great features, and yes they're beautiful, I just wish I could get them to fit properly!

Need a easier to open charging case

I just bought these and really like the sound from them. The case however is making me mad. It's made of hard plastic and is so slippery and hard to open because it doesn't have like a lip on the top door to easily lift open so you have to use your finger nail and if you don't have a good grip on the case it'll slip out of your hands and go flying across the room. I've dropped the darn thing several times already when I'm trying to get the earbuds out.

How do I pair with tablet

What the battery life on a single charge for the earbuds with out ambient aware on?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Endurance Peak 3 has a music playtime of up to 10 hours from a full battery charge without enabling the Ambient Aware feature. The music playtime also varies depending on the volume level and music content played from the source.

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Endurance Peak 3 has an IP68 waterproof rating which means they can be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of salt or fresh water for 30 minutes. However, they do not have sufficient buoyancy to actually float on the surface of water.

Can these be upgraded to bluetooth 5.3?

The Bluetooth version of our JBL Endurance Peal 3 cannot be upgraded to Bluetooth Version 5.3, however, since all Bluetooth versions are backward-compatible and can work with lower Bluetooth protocols, you can still connect it with devices that have Bluetooth versions 5.2 and below.
