The power button broke 6 months after purchase and now I need a new speaker for work.
I noticed the feel of the button changed in the last month and then yesterday the button stopped working altogether. I decided to take it apart to see what had happened. In the picture you can see the Bluetooth pairing button is nice and it clicks fine but the power button is gone, non existent, and you can clearly see there is nothing there. Even pressing deeply, there is no resistance and nothing to touch or press. No wonder it won’t turn on.
This is really sad because I really did like the sound this speaker produced. But because of the short lifespan, I now have to shop other brands for a new Bluetooth speaker and I won’t be recommending JBL as a go to brand. The sound is the only thing making this 3 stars and not 1 or 2.
