Easy to use, comfortable

I bought these about a month ago after really liking my first pair! My only complaint is that while they connect to my laptop, they are not recognized as a sound device. I keep having to "forget" the connection and reconnect in order to get them to work as an option for sound input or output. I have resolved to just use them with my phone, but it is a bummer as this worked well with my first pair. Otherwise, I think these are some of the best wireless headphones on the market!

Troubleshooting needed

Had to download the JBL headphone app to make these headphones work properly. Took some trial and error to lift the left headphone in and out from the pocket to get the app to detect it. But now so far so good. Good sound cancellation effect. Works well but troubleshooting was required, didn’t work out of the box

I've had this product for about 2 years and recently, I've been getting some issues with connecting and disconnecting the earbuds. If my earbuds aren't connected, then they try to get connected to a different device. Other than that then they were fine with the noise canceling and the audio quality. That one problem ruined it for me.

Normally, if your JBL Live Pro 2 is paired with another device it will connect to it automatically, you need to forget that pairing or turn off the Bluetooth on that other device to prevent it from connecting automatically. When playing sound and watching movies, you hear a quiet noise that is annoying!!!!.this is ANC, Ambient Aware, Talk Thru disabled. When watching videos or typing, the noise appears.

We're here to help with your JBL Live Pro 2 TWS. Please try connecting the unit to a different device and see if the issue remains. We also recommend doing a factory reset. To do this, remove or forget the earbuds from the list of paired Bluetooth devices. Then, tap one of the earbuds twice and hold it for 5 seconds on the third tap. Put the earbuds back in the case to complete the reset. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

The battery lasts just about all day while being comfortable enough to listen to all day and the sound is crisp, clear and a joy listening to. These mostly run podcasts but it plays music quite well out the box, but the app's eq is as potent as the noise canceling. I've been through 2 of these now and they both suffer from the similar problems of dropping out and randomly loses connection. My first pair had one ear bud shake the driver to death and I'm getting the feeling this newest pair might do the same. They sound soo... good and satisfying that I still run them daily. Jbl really has something if they put some more money into the build quality this can be a serious rival to the ipods pro.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

After a little bit it almost sounds like it disconnects for a second and the sound does a weird thing then goes out for a second then comes right back. It’s annoying. Battery life seems like it doesn’t the battery life it tells you it can do. It’s too bad it doesn’t seem like you can shut it off when it’s out of the case. Sound is great and I love how you can tailor it to your preference with the EQ. It also has pretty great noise cancellation. They are pretty comfortable also, but they fit a little loose in my ears overall. Even with the few negatives, the good far outweighs the bad and that’s why I’m still giving it 4 Stars.

Worth the price.

Can i connect the earbuds to my android device without the case?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Live Pro 2 TWS earbuds can still connect to a device even without the case. However, please keep in mind that the earbuds automatically power off after 30 minutes of being in standby mode if they disconnect from Bluetooth. To reconnect, you will need to put the earbuds back in the charging case and take them off again.

According to the "tech spec" in the Quick Start Guide, the Maximum SPL is 93 dB. (Sensitivity is 105 db SPL @ 1kHz.)
