Thank you for your inquiry. If you are pairing a new source device, enabling Bluetooth on the device is necessary so that it can discover the product. Find the unit on the Bluetooth list and select it. Test it by playing music. If this does not solve the problem, you will need to do a reset and manually re-pair again. To reset JBL Soundgear Sense. Thanks for your feedback. Please know that it's possible that the battery on the left earbud of your JBL Soundgear Sense is losing its capacity. Volume and usage can affect the battery's life. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime. Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help. This might be caused by the sonic quality of your source, depending on what you are listening to, EQ Settings, or Source Device. If you're using an EQ, you may try to turn it off, or if not, try turning it on and boosting the bass. Try connecting the earbuds to other source devices. You may also reset it by turning on both earbuds and not charging, tapping two times, and holding the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet to pair them again. They would work when riding a motorcycle but audio quality may be affected as these are open ear headphones. ~Peter
