Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This Moto mod allows me to take 360 walkthrough videos anywhere I want. The ultra-wide photos are 150 degrees and come out amazing especially with the new app. Best used outdoors in natural light. Indoors not the best but still 4 stars.

It works. Came in the box with the Z4 but doesn't fit properly. The Moto 360 camera is wider than the phone and looks ridiculous.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Watching videos taken with this mod during holidays is almost as if you are there again as a 3rd person. Together with a cardboard this just fun. This mod, like the beamer mod, makes the mod system so outstanding. Without much stuff to carry around these add really extra functionality to the already great z series phones.

First of all the 360 photos are pretty amazing, I love the tiny planet feature! The video is hands down the best experience. This is one of my favorite mods.

So much fun taking 360 videos. This is so much easier than the old way of taking these photos. Worth every penny! The camera can also live stream directly to Facebook and it really does capture everything!

Doesn't work with Z Force Droid

Just received this yesterday. Snapped it on my Moto Z Force Droid, and it told me I needed a software update. But when I checked for updates my phone told me my software was up to date. Turns out you need the update to Android 7.1.1, and the associated Moto Mod Platform 2.0, in order to use this camera. But according to Motorola customer support, I may not be pushed that update for 5 months! So despite the advertising that this product is compatible with the Z Force Droid, it is not. What a disappointment.

So sorry you ran into this. The update to enable this mod was delayed, but you should be able to update now. If you have not updated already, can you go to Settings > Software Updates and download and install the latest software? Let us know if you're still unable to use your Mod.

I have a Moto Z Play and just received a Moto 360 Camera. I absolutely love the mod, but for whatever reason, I'm getting an error message each time I try to go live on Facebook. What do I need to do to get it to work?

Why is the Moto 360 camera Moto mod not listed as compatible with the Moto z play when the Motorola website says it is?

It’s so important to know if two devices that you purchase are compatible. The reason it doesn’t show it is because we are currently out of stock on the Moto Z Play, but the good news is that you are correct. They are compatible with each other. - Sean

What is the zoom & distance as to where u can film

I upg my DroiTurbo to Moto Z2 F on 8/7 for next day shipping; but delayed to 8/17; 8/25; then 9/1 & rec'ved on, around 9/5. Due to malf; I replaced on 10/10 & it is now ok! After trying many times, I have not yet rec'vd my free proj. mod! please help.

Is this compatible with motor z play that's about a year old.

This is compatible with the moto z² force edition, Moto Z2 Play, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid. Also, for future reference at the bottom of the page it shows what devices are compatible with this accessory.
