I’m not sure which one you are asking about. I bought 2 for this iPad with the first one, the cover for the Apple Pencil broke off before I got the tablet installed. It went in the trash. I replaced it with another cover. At the same time I bought a case for my granddaughters Mini. It seems to work well and is very protective. Unfortunate it does not have provisions for the pencil. It works fine for her, but would be useless for me.

Old ones were better with better screen protection. This expensive case came with no screen protection ans is very hard to get on and off, much harder than the previous versions.

Hey there, Vince! We apologize for any confusion surrounding the Defender Series Pro case for your iPad mini (6th Gen), but you're correct in saying this case does not include a built-in screen protector. If that feature is important to you, we'd recommend checking out our standard Defender Series case which does have that built-in piece. We'll also provide a link to one of our installation videos for you below that we hope is helpful in getting that case on and off your device. Please feel free to give our friendly Otters a ring at 1-855-688-7269 with any questions or if you'd like to chat about this some more.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OXDeax6Sp0
