Yes, I'd recommend this product.
The opening exposing access to the camera button on right side further exposes the edge of glass to breakage if dropped. Protective housing does not protect glass. Poor design.

The last otterbox case on my 16 pro kept slipping out of my hand. I had to have the safety glass replaced twice. The new defender mag safe case had a better grip to keep slipping out of hand. The foxberry color is great. I am glad otterbox came out with this color.

Expensive but worth it. Knock offs were pure junk. Phone wouldn’t stay in beltclip and glass cover had bubbles that wouldn’t go away. Otter is the only way to go!! OTTER pro defender or don’t waste your money, get phone insurance

I love the design, the high quality, the 2 tone colors, the port protection, and most importantly the feel of the grip. Yes, the texture of the grip is outstanding. It's a joy to use.

Does this case have an opening for the new camera button on the side or does it have a plastic button over it to enable use?

Hello! This case features a notch for the new Camera Control button. The new and improved designed cases work seamlessly with Apple's new camera control button on the Apple iPhone 16 line of cases. Our engineering team not only found that the new notch does not diminish the drop protection of the case, we also re-engineered these cases to be Drop+ 7x rated.
