It withstands drops, continuous sliding and roughness out from pockets, and dirt and washing, coming back like new each time. The Defender Pro series has a nice grip without being overly bulky.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
Case seems to be very sturdy. Had slight problem when my husband tried to insert charging cord into bottom of case where speaker/audio holes were--didn't see the little rubber cover at the bottom center of the case that needed to be opened to insert the plug! Our old cases didn't have that.
