It's an overall good system.

Check Mark GraphicYes, I'd recommend this product.
I do enjoy self monitoring the front door with this system, but the only drawback is that it cannot contain videos for later viewing. If just had a port for a memory chip. It's an overall good working system for me.

Ok when it works

Benwwww . 11 months ago

Got asked for this review just as I started having problems. So, it's useful when it works. Currently says it's offline yet still sending me alerts. Have tried to reset it but no joy yet. Every six months or so there's a random issue usually fixed by restarting it which takes about 20 mins, finding the special screwdriver etc

Hi Benwwww. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. At Ring, we understand it is essential to have your Ring Chime online and working properly so you can keep your home secure. Being able to rely on the alerts to know when someone is at your door is an essential feature of the Ring Chime. We want to ensure your device is working as intended by providing you with solutions to resolve the concern you mentioned in your review. It sounds like your device is falling offline. There are a few things to check to ensure your device remains online. First, make sure your Ring device has the most updated wifi network and password. Then check other devices around your home to see if they’re connected or disconnected to wifi. If other devices are not working, there may be an outage in your area. You can also reboot your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in again.
