Hi Toni1975, I’m glad to hear you appreciate the fit and design! Seamlessly switching between devices is a crucial part of the Galaxy ecosystem, and your experience underscores its importance for daily use. With the Auto Switch feature on Galaxy devices, your phones, tablets, and earbuds can remember if you've paired multiple Galaxy wearables in the past, enabling easy transitions. Simply put on your connected device, and it will automatically connect. You can also use the Galaxy Wearable app to switch between devices. If you need to switch manually, follow these steps: 1. Ensure the other device is powered on. 2. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone. 3. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines). 4. The most recently connected device will appear at the top of the list. Select the device you wish to connect to, and the app will automatically establish the connection. Please note that this feature is not available on iOS devices. For more information on how to seamlessly utilize the Auto Switch feature with your Galaxy Buds, please refer to the link provided below. Do they really her foreign language and translate to English automatically or do i have to download app for that feature?
Yes, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 (and Buds 4 Pro) support real-time foreign language translation through the Interpreter and Live Translate features powered by Galaxy AI. How Translation Works The earbuds work in tandem with a compatible Samsung Galaxy smartphone to provide seamless communication: Interpreter Mode (In-Person): When someone speaks to you in a foreign language, the translation is played directly into your Galaxy Buds. When you speak, your words are translated and played through your phone’s speaker for the other person to hear. Listening Mode: Ideal for lectures or tours, this mode provides a continuous one-way translation of speech directly to your earbuds. Live Translate (Phone Calls): This feature translates phone calls in real time, showing text on your screen and providing translated audio through the earbuds. YouTube YouTube +6 Requirements & Setup Device Compatibility: These features require pairing with a compatible Samsung Galaxy device (such as the S26 or recent flagships) running the latest software. Activation: You can typically start translation by swiping down to the Quick Settings panel on your phone and selecting Interpreter, or by using pinch-and-hold gestures on the earbud stems if configured in the Galaxy Wearable app. Language Packs: You may need to download specific language packs within the Interpreter app for offline or smoother real-time use. samsung.com samsung.com ~Jorge
