Im going to start off in saying, I am keeping the ring. Its not perfect but it has done a great job in providing an insight to the numbers I need to visually see to improve my everyday life.
2 suggestions for the ring. The 1st suggestion I have is the battery
life. As soon as I received it (5 days ago) I started checking the app non-stop to understand the numbers the ring is providing compared to what Im doing at the moment: example, stressed at work, home, sleep patterns etc. That being said, I do log into the app right now at least 3 times an hour a day. The ring does seem to constantly sync data to the ultrhuman app and shares it to the apple health app as well. I share the data with the apple health app to compare between the both on how it interprets the data.
That leads to my 2nd suggestion, I am not in the medical field so it is confusing understanding the numbers from the ultrahuman app. Maybe adding a “?” Next to each number recorded to read more if the numbers are good or if it needs improvement. There is a chart that shows up and down a bar graph but what is considered “good or bad?”. You only see your graph. This seems more like something to share with our medical providers to understand our numbers on a day by day basis, but as the user I would like more insight to those numbers. How the app is interpreting them vs me googling if the numbers are good? Its tedious going back and forth on google and checking the numbers.
Dont get me wrong, it is by far a good piece of technology on a RING! I didnt want a watch because I have always had thick wrists and the watch tends to bother/irritate me after a while so I didnt see me taking full advantage of buying a watch with similar abilities as the ring because I would take it off at night.
I was also concerned if the ring would cause irritation because my skin doesnt tolerate cheap jewelry so I was concerned if I would irritated. Im happy to report my skin isn’t irritated by the ring. I strongly recommend to purchase the sizing rings!!! The sizing rings will give you a feel on using the UltrHuman Ring and of course, get the right size to avoid returning fo something so minor that is avoidable and you get samples on how the colors look too! I loved they did that.
I work on a computer all day, have a toddler and two dogs so far the ring had not gotten any damage so its pretty sturdy.
I put 4 stars instead of the 5 mainly because of the battery life but like I mentioned, Im constantly checking the app and the ring is synchronizing constantly with 2 apps on my phone. Im going to assume thats why I have to charge it daily vs how it read that it should last about 4-6days on a single charge.
I really hope the maker makes more improvements on how to read the data and battery life because I would absolutely upgrade.
