The WiFi Extender Mini is a compact extender that plugs into a wall outlet. This product is available only to customers with 5G Home Internet service. To learn more and to check if your home address is 5G-ready, please visit verizon.com/5g/home/.

Based on the size of your home, we recommend the following number of additional extenders for your 5G Home service:

1600-3200 sq. ft. Router + 1 extender
3200-5000 sq. ft. Router + 2 extenders
5000-6600 sq. ft. Router + 3 extenders

Horrible purchase. I purchased the unit and it did not work, I then spent three call and over four hours on line with tech support to get no resolution.

Bought at a local Verizon store. Followed the installation instructions but there is no “add an extender” option at the part of the install the instructions say you can find it. Spent a long time on call with tech support who couldn’t figure out how to help me. Most of these reviews are one star. I see why. Verizon… stop selling this until you can fix the software that allows for an actual install.

This mini extender is not compatible with the 5 g Gateway internet. Another wild goose chase and a trip back to Verizon to return it, where you have to wait a while for it to be your turn. Verizon needs to get their act together before they offer useless products.

Had the device for two weeks. Has not functioned properly for longer than 4 days at a time. Have to continually reset and restart. My apps don't work properly because they now think I am in Atlanta, or North Carolina or Chicago, etc... Spoke with customer service who had to "upgrade" the call. Arranged a return call time to accommodate them! They never called! Thought cable providers were awful, at least they try.

I have 5 G plus and it says that you can get a WiFi extender as part of your service. Is that not correct?
