This phone is AWFUL. From day one, I've had issues. The speakerphone doesn't work properly, sounding super choppy to the call recipient. Calls are frequently dropped, both at home and on the road. Apps freeze and blink closed. Sometimes the touch screen just doesn't ever respond. Apple says it's fine, because they ran a remote diagnostic. I HATE this phone and now I'm stuck with it for 2 years. DO NOT BUY. I should have waited for the 13.

bad cellular connectivity dropped calls .

1 out of 5 rating

atlas · 22 days ago

I think this phone is so nice and beautiful, but at the worst times it drops calls on me and sometimes just doesn’t respond to what i’m doing . i’m surprised apple and verizon haven’t fixed the issue . i usually get a new phone every 2 years no matter what , this time i might wait longer because of the unreliability.

Dropped calls · 24 days ago

Phone takes great picture! The 1 thing that matters most is the phone calls and it’s constantly dropping calls. I don’t recommend this phone at all. Absolutely horrible when your on a urgent call and it drops. Verizon can’t fix it so definitely don’t bother.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I had the XS MAX before this. Upgrade was nice and I can see how people can complain about the Wi-Fi and signal loss. But tbh my xs had the same problem. I’ll sell this phone when the 14 comes out to buy that one. I always skip a year in hops of better but you usually get the same phone with a better camera all the way up from the 10. But that’s iPhone. I can say this, this phone runs smooth. Never froze up knock on wood battery is great and the screen is huge. Sometimes I look at it in awe just how massive the phone is. Goodbye

READ THE REVIEWS!!

2 out of 5 rating

George · 1 months ago

I usually get my kids hand-me-downs, but when the 12 came out I thought I'd finally spend some $, especially since Verizon was giving me $800 for my iPhone 8 towards the iPhone 12. Now I see why. It got a 3/5 star rating before I bought it, but I just discounted the reviews as outliers. I was wrong. Compared to my iPhone 8, the signal is inconsistent. I go from wifi to no wifi w/o moving. Sometimes it needs a little coaxing to connect to an established wifi spot. The bluetooth signal is just as hit or miss. I don't know if this messes with Siri, but she has all sorts of trouble with simple voice commands. This may also be caused by an issue with the microphone. I've had several people say they my talk breaks up when I'm using the speaker to talk. At least the camera is better than my old 8. I would not waste, yes it was definitely a waste, my money on locking into an extended contract over this product.

Pamela, I have used my phone while using my wireless earbuds and doing wireless charging at the same time. I have never experienced any sound degradation as a result. Have you experienced that or are you just checking to be sure? - Erich

You would have to buy the adapter for wired headphones that dont take a c charger

Verizon Customer Support - 9 months

It would really depend on what kind of wired headphones you have, as there might be some accessories that can be used as converters for you to connect it to the lightning port. It is best to use wireless headphones for this model phone though. - Sofia

1. does the 5G turn off on an apple ipone 12 and 12 pro where LTE is only available? 2. does the apple i phone 12 and 12 pro have only face recognition login or can a password be used

Verizon Customer Support - 10 months

Lori, LTE will be the only thing showing at the top of the device when you are in a non 5G area but it does not turn the 5G option off on the iPhone 12/12 Pro. There is also a password option available on the iPhone 12/12 Pro. https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/set-a-passcode-iph14a867ae/ios - Rodney
