This has to be the worse phone Apple has made with current technology. I’ve upgraded from a 12 mini to this $1400 rubbish. I contemplated activating it for almost a month, I should’ve listened to my gut. My Air processes slower than the mini, face recognition does not work light or dark, from any angle ever. screen flickers (video attached), it is short but you can see the locations at the top are changing.. when I double tap a word it highlights multiple sentences, the cursor barely works when placing or selecting a word. Double tap for zooming does not work. The camera DOES NOT have “.5” it’s like snapping a pic with an iPhone 4 straight garbage!!! The mini has way better camera quality & iPhones camera was why I switched from Samsung. This is down right trash, Apple should just recall all the Airs and never produce & promote such basura!!!! I would love to return this for an iphone16+ . I’d rather another iPhone mini with upgraded processing power, than this big back bulk of bull!!!

This battery is not lasting 17 hours. My old 14+ is over 3 years old and battery lasted much longer! Very disappointed

I like everything about the iPhone 17 Air. I upgraded from the 13 Pro because this phone slimmer and lighter. I like improved camera and screen clarity.

Love this phone more than the previous phones over the years due to how light it is. Battery lasts all day even though I’m a heavy user with work. Since I only use the camera for receipt pictures and some random shots during the week I have not missed my 16 pro max as that was heavy and bulky. If you’re thinking of getting this model go to the store and hold it and see the difference for yourself.

So far so good. I replaced my iPhone 14 with the air. I love the sleekness of the phone. It has a slightly bigger screen and I like this as well but not too big so it fits in my pocket easily. As I continue to discover more about it I am sure I will like it. I am not a big phone geek but I do like the functionality of the air.

I am loving this new phone! I am upgrading from an IPhone 13 Pro Max that feels like an absolute brick compared to the Air. My wife has a 16 Pro Max and she even said how nice it feels in the hand and how nice the screen is. The screen is very clear and bright. Videos either streaming or taken with the camera are very clear. The product itself is well designed. I love the layout of the SINGLE camera. I’m not a huge picture taker. I just mainly have to take a few pics for work so I do not need a bunch of cameras. The device also appears quite durable for it being so small! I am very pleased with the feeling of it being structurally sound. I bought a minimalist case that keeps it sleek and small. I also use a ring mount in my vehicle and it stays in place. My last phone would fall off the mount due to its increased weight. Lastly I am very pleased with this new phone and I hope continues to make the Air in future generations!

horrible battery life and crashing 24/7

honestly, this phone was meh ever since i turned it on and took it out of the box.. my phones updated, still has storage, and in perfect condition but for the love of god i cannot send a single text message without my app crashing.. and it’s really bad when im in the middle of texting a long message since it doesn’t save it. the battery life is also horrible. needless to say, i will be early upgrading to the 17 pro max since i’ve heard much more positive reviews with that than i have experienced with the air.

This is my first iPhone, coming from a Google pixel Seven pro. it’s extremely thin and feels soft to the touch, probably because of the smooth edges. I thought the bumper case would respect the thin design better, but it actually feels thicker than the Apple MagSafe case. I also thought the dedicated camera button would be really cool, but it’s actually been rather annoying. I love having a shutter button, but the location falls right where I usually place my thumb when holding up the phone at rest; it should be nearer the bottom of the phone. I’m also not a huge fan of Face ID; I would rather have a fingerprint reader. The battery is actually amazing. I was usually burning through my pixel battery every day, but in my first week with the iPhone Air I’m averaging 43% battery usage. Apples android app for switching to iPhone is garbage. Sure it gets your Photos, files, and videos synchronized, but it won’t even go to the trouble of downloading the free apps you already have on your phone. Instead you have to tap the icon for every one of them and manually download them. This is understandable for apps which have a first party alternative; I don’t need two translate apps. The color is nothing like the advertising; Light gold is functionally white, with the strongest coloration coming from the titanium edges. Finally, this thing is freaky thin; I barely feel it in my pocket. Frankly I find it hard to believe this thing is real.

Underrated iPhone

This phone is the underrated iPhone of the 17 lineup, I am an on the go Engineer both office, field and dirty work. This phone in my opinion operates at the same caliber as my 16 ProMax for battery life for the day and night. I don’t need the huge screen, all the cameras and other junk. In fact I haven’t missed them at all since switching, The thin and sleek design that isn’t aluminum and easy to bend, warp and scratch makes me happier with my decision vs. a 17 Pro or ProMax. I am super happy with this Air and how it holds up and performs.
