Phone and service got me!

Can u hear me now . 2 months

I got this phone and the fold screen never worked. I immediately switched and got a 14 pro max. Ship the fold back but it never got sent. After about a year of going back and forth with customer service and they agreed to take the phone back and give me credit for what I had paid. Well this thing is about paid off and all I got is a $2000 paper weight. I can’t get the screen fixed and they give me story and promise to send me a shipping label but have yet to send it. The staff is nice and doing what BIG Co. tells them, however they rip me for $2000 at the worst time in my life. Once my contract is done most likely so am I.

The fold screen stopped working after a year

1 undefined

jpynduss . 2 months

My pixel fold worked great for about a year, it was ideal I could use the smaller screen for everyday normal use and switch to the larger fold screen for reading when I wanted. After about a year the fold screen stopped working. Looked and replacement cost $1000 for just the screen. This was my first and last fold phone I'll ever own. They are just not durable enough compared to a normal non foldable phone

Great phone, don't listen to the haters!

Check Mark Graphic
Coming from an S22 Ultra. This Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is GREAT!!!! don't listen to the haters in the slightest. It takes great photos as long as you're not a camera snob. It games extremely well, I emulate and play Genshin Impact/Honkai Star Rail on 60fps high settings JUST FINE with no studders. The UI is of course amazing and so far it's done nothing but give me great joy. I love the weight and overall size of the phone. If you're thinking between this and the Samsung Fold, id suggest this unless you like skinny phones. Tall and skinny versus a wide and voluptuous phone, which would you choose :D

Worst phone I ever had

1 undefined

Vavala . 6 months

I've been using google phones for sometime now and decided to upgrade to the google pixel fold the first one I bought decided to crack on the center fold less than 3 weeks and had to return my phone and they wouldn't send me one unless I paid for the full amount of $1800 or I would be without a phone for a week and then when they sent me new one it worked for a week then I had camera issues where I can't take front photos and I called customer service again and they want me to return again and go through the same thing so I have a broken camera and I'm paying $100 a month for this phone.

I hate this phone

1 undefined

Share . 7 months

I'm normally a Samsung Galaxy chick saw this phone and decided to try it. This phone is awful. It's so many reasons and don't know where to begin. For starters the speaker on this phone is terrible. That's my number one issue. The sound is so low. The videos and music plays extremely low and have to blue tooth just to be able to hear. Then the settings, it's not simple at all. It's like 3 to 4 steps just to get to a setting then you try to remember how you did it and end of changing something you didn't mean to. I'm pretty good at figuring things out with electronics but this phone I really want to get out of. I'm doing all I can to get my Samsung back.

Terrible Warranty Experience

1 undefined

bmw1918 . 10 months

I really enjoyed using the Pixel Fold up until the inside screen broke 6 months in. I opened it up and heard a cracking sound, and the screen had split right down the middle crease. Considering it's supposed to be rated at 200,000 opens and closes, I was surprised it only lasted half a year. The display turned black except for a couple of green bubbles after that. I called Google since it's still under warranty, and they advised me to take it to uBreakiFix. When I did, they wouldn't fix it there since it had "physical damage", that being the crack down the middle of the screen. I got ahold of Google again and shared my experience, and they wouldn't honor the warranty due to the same "physical damage". So essentially, the warranty is worthless even though the damage is due to Google's design and material. I've been loyal to Pixel since the first phone, which I told Google, but that didn't make a difference. Very disappointed with my Google experience.

A little disappointed.

I would like to say I really like this phone but it is crazy that you have to go to settings just to turn the volume down and put it on vibrate. This should be on the home screen.. Other than that just a matter of getting used to the features. But the volume/vibrate is big for me!!!

This system does not know how to handle contact problems

currently unable to make or receive calls or texts. I can't even sign into live chat because you all keep trying to verify my login by trying to send me a text. And I can't get past your stupid Ai sign in. 'I'd be happy to help you with that... please sign in' But I can't sign in. 'I'd be happy to help you with that... please sign in' ad infinitum. Are you all serious?!

I like the phone itself quite a bit. However, setting it up and copying data from the old phone was a bit of a hassle, and the conversion doesn't bring over any of the apps and folders that were setup on my screens for easy access. This is a lot of repetitious work and extremely time consuming. Tech Support was somewhat helpful in switching phone numbers to the new phone and the new number to the old. Still think it is incomplete because of things happening in text messages after the number change. And not sure how Verizon got my work email account set up in my personal account. That will still need correction.

Does it have a physical sim slot or e sim

Google Team1 year

Hi Nick, The Pixel Fold has both a physical SIM slot and eSIM capability. If your carrier supports eSIM, you can activate it with them.
