Pretty much the same as the previous model. Except camera is awful

2 out of 5 rating

Dave · 10 days ago

I needed a new phone and have always had great luck with the Motorola phones. I was really excited to get this one with the "updated" camera. Well, this camera is absolutely awful. I have to edit every single picture to make it resemble what I actually took a picture of. Horrible clarity and color. And taking a pic on zoom?? Hahaha... May as well be a potato in your hand. I can't begin to tell you how disappointing this is.

Don't get this phone, your old phone is better

1 out of 5 rating

Michael · 12 days ago

The first UW phone wouldn't do data at all, no matter what. After Verizon tried to update me, saying that was the problem, they sent me a "new" phone. It's been a nightmare, expensive, don't fall for the sales pitch. Stick with your old phone. 5G signal is not operational, and this has bugs. The first couple of days my old phone was inactivated and the office couldn't get the new one working. They had to reactivate my old phone and said I was lucky to get my old number of 20 years back. I regret giving them another chance.

Worst phone ever purchased

1 out of 5 rating

benjamin · 13 days ago

Was sold to me a great phone for an regular user who doesnt need it to game, shoot movies, or used for work projects. Well i dont know how great it is at those things becuase I can barely use it. This phone literally needs to be on wifi or cannot function. That long battery life is becuase it put zero effort into its antenna&reception. 80percent of my day is zero bars, and says emergency calls only. Motorola humoured me and replaced the phone twice then refused to do anything more. And now that I want a different phone Verizon is refusing to take it as a trade in even though they are selling it. Which I guess does prevent another unhappy customer when they get duped into this phone. It best use is for smashing to rid yourself of the frustration of owning such a piece of junk

Works great for me. 5G and good battery. Will end up being free with the Verizon $300 trade-in credit provided over 24 months. Hard to beat that deal on a 5G phone!

DOC J · 1 months ago

Got this phone a couple months ago to replace a z3 play. Old phone was better. This phone has a junk camera, battery life is poor, barely makes it a day before going dead!! I have been a Verizon customer since it was nynex mobile. Had mostly Motorola phones since then. This will be my last Motorola phone & last time with Verizon!! Both are beyond poor!! Crap service, bill is too expensive, crap phones!! Disgusted & done!!

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

The Motorola one 5G UW ace is simple to use, fast, has a large screen, and is a high quality device at a excellent price. I was looking to replace/upgrade my old phone without spending a fortune. After doing research it appeared that this phone would deliver everything that was important to me. After using this phone I am very please with my choice, it has exceeded all of my expectations. The call quality it fantastic, I can check my email with ease, its a pleasure to use online, and its easy to use to make all types of purchases with online and in person. Motorola thank you for making this phone at this price point.

Don't Get the Fuss

5 out of 5 rating

DCBukk · 1 months ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I don't know what all the fuss/negative reviews are about... I picked up this phone in store to replace my old Moto Z-Play (actually there was a Moto G-Pure in between but it didn't have NFC so I returned it...), opened the box, started it up, flawlessly transferred all of my apps (had to re-enter some passwords, of course) and it has operated flawlessly. The camera takes good photos (maybe not iPhone13 quality, but who cares?). The screen is bright, easy to read. Yes there are some annoying pre-loaded apps (where aren't there any?) so just uninstall them. The phone is clear (according to folks on the other end...), the speed is incredible over WiFi (near 500mb with FiOS). Oh, and the NFC works great which is the reason I returned the G-Pure (actually I can't believe any product doesn't have NFC these days...) I don't think I can say anything more about my POSITIVE response.
