Hi Hamfist, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re glad to hear the phone is working well overall and that you’re getting comfortable with it. We understand your concern about battery life running down faster than expected. In many cases, this can be influenced by usage patterns, background apps, screen brightness, or connectivity settings while you’re still getting familiar with the device. To help improve battery performance, you can check Settings > Battery > Battery usage to see which apps are using the most power, reduce screen brightness or enable adaptive brightness, and make sure unused apps aren’t running in the background. Also, keeping the software updated under Settings > System > Software update can help optimize battery efficiency. If you continue noticing faster-than-expected drain, please send us an email at supportforums@motorola.com, and we’ll be happy to take a closer look with you. -Mitch

Motorola Customer Care - 10 days
Hi Trailerparknick, Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re sorry to hear about what happened with the display near the hinge area. We understand how concerning it must be to see a small black spec grow into a larger display problem, followed by part of the screen becoming unresponsive, especially after only seven months of use. To help us properly review what occurred and guide you on the next steps for repair or warranty options, we would appreciate a bit more detail. Please let us know when you first noticed the black spot, whether the phone had any drops, pressure on the display, or exposure to moisture, and if the behavior changed immediately after opening or closing the device.Kindly send this information, along with any photos or a short video showing the screen behavior, to supportforums@motorola.com, and our team will be happy to assist you further. -Mitch

Kenna . Mar 16, 2026
Does it have the magnetic back?
Thank you for your inquiry, Kenna. Yes, the Moto Razr 2025 phone does contain magnets inside the body for things like the wireless charging coil and hinge alignment, but they do not have a magnetic attachment system like MagSafe, where accessories automatically snap on with a magnetic ring. The wireless charging system uses the standard Qi coil on the back rather than a dedicated magnetic alignment ring. So while there are internal magnets, the phone doesn’t include a built‑in magnetic attachment system designed for accessories, the way some other brands do. -Mitch
This phone has minor magnetic properties due to its folding mechanism, but it is not built to support MagSafe accessories reliably. It does not feature a strong magnetic back designed for accessories. To use MagSafe chargers, wallets, or mounts, you would need a third-party MagSafe-compatible case. -Sean
Cathy . Mar 14, 2026
What does it mean “unlocked” for the razr?
Hi Cathy, Thank you for your inquiry. When a phone is listed as “unlocked”, it means it is not tied to any specific carrier. The Moto Razr 2025 you mentioned is listed for Verizon and is not an unlocked model. For details about network compatibility or options to use it with other carriers, we recommend contacting Verizon directly, as they can provide the most accurate information. -Mitch
Steve . Jan 29, 2026
Is the memory upgradable?
No, the internal storage on this device is not upgradeable. Users will need to use cloud storage options for additional space. -Sean
FaceTime . Jan 21, 2026
is it FaceTime compatible
Hi FaceTime, Thank you for your inquiry. The Moto Razr 2025 phone is not compatible with FaceTime, as that app is exclusive to Apple devices. You can explore alternative video-calling options by checking the Google Play Store to find apps that work on Android devices. -Mitch
Jules . Jan 18, 2026

Replaceable Sim . Jan 17, 2026
Can I change Sim card for using my other carriers if needed?
