Lot's of Problems

Jeff27 - 4 days ago

I upgraded from a Pixel 3, and the only thing to work reliably on this one is the fast charging. Apps keep crashing, the screen gets stuck a bunch, the visual voicemail in the default phone app crashes when deleting voicemails, RTT is stuck on enabled so you can't use the Phone by Google app, and it randomly loses service requiring a restart to work again. Total buyer's remorse on this phone. Worst part is, I hear the 8 for other carriers doesn't have some of these problems.

Oneplus made a good phone, Verizon is horrible at issuing updates for it

TSizz - 5 days ago

I love the phone, I think OP did a fantastic job designing it for Verizon. The main problem I have with this phone is that Verizon is so slow to update the OS software. There's features I cannot access such as the new Oneplus buds app, because Verizon hasn't updated the OS yet. Many apps I'd like to use say 'incompatible with device', such as basic Verizon voicemail. If I had to do this over again, I would not get a carrier-issued phone ever again because they take too long for updates. And one more thing, voicemail notifications do not show up. That's kind of a massive bug.
