Good phone

This phone handles very well. The only thing disappointing was that I thought the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 came with video calling built into the phone. You can only make a video call if you download a third-party video calling app. Other than that, I enjoy it very much.

Fabulous Phablet...or should I say Phabulous!

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This phablet smartphone is absolutely fabulous! There has been no downside to my upgrading from the Samsung Note 5 to the Note 8 and have been nothing but impressed since the phone came out of the box. Very pleased with processor, RAM, responsiveness, battery life, screen resolution and picture quality (including selfies) and my all-time favorite feature is the split screen. One of my favorite new features is the split screen to have two different apps open at the same time. I love that I can view my calendar and emails simultaneously, as well as other apps where I benefit from having two apps open side by side. Under "Device Settings", I keep the phone set to an "Optimized" performance mode and find that my battery lasts all day without recharging. I use my cell phone heavily for talk, email, text and internet and with these applications, battery life lasts 24 hours and sometimes slightly longer. Transitioning apps and settings from Note 5 to Note 8 was seamless. Within an hour, everything and all settings from my Note 5 were transferred to my new Note 8. I only had to reselect my ring tone and alarms and sign back into a few apps (really no inconvenience). I am very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend the Note 8. Seriously, do not wait--go buy this phone. In my opinion, it is a superior device to the Note 5 (which I loved but do not miss at all).
