Worst Phone I Have Ever Bought

1 out of 5 rating

April · 2 days ago

Life long Samsung user and I thought I would be happy with them forever. However, only after about a month of having this phone with no big drops and a case on it, the back of the phone completely cracked. And then less than a year after getting the phone, it began to restart randomly. At first it would restart about once or twice a day and it would be quick to reboot back on, but then it progressed to restarting at least 20 times a day and sometimes taking 10-20 minutes to turn back on. And then suddenly, one day when it restarted it no longer displayed my lock screensaver and is now currently in a never ending loop of restarting, asking for my pin, restarting, asking for my pin...I had my last phone (galaxy s7) for about 4 years with no problems before upgrading and I was hoping the durability and quality of the newer phones would be comparable but no luck I guess.

Bmathis · 6 days ago

Traded in my Note 9 for this phone and was actually a downgrade. No SD slot, less memory and the phone shuts down from getting too hot. I had it for 3 days and it gets too hot to touch. I feel like it's going to catch on fire. I was playing a movie not being charged and it got super hot so I propped it up but eventually it shutdown. I am returning my phone and getting a note 9 if I can. I should of just trust my gut instinct and kept what I had. Just like every other business samsung cuts out key features and charges the same or more for the product. There is not ONE thing that I can say is a upgrade from the note9. Let that sink in...

Hardware or Software Issue?

2 out of 5 rating

Frustrated customer · 11 days ago

I have had this phone for a few months and although it has some nice features, I have found it to be unreliable as it randomly freezes and then restarts. I'm not sure if it is a software or hardware issue but it is very frustrating and most inconvenient. Every time there is a software update, I hope that the issue will be resolved but I am quickly disappointed that the issue continues to be a problem. I have used Samsung phones exclusively for many, many years but feel that it may be time switch to another brand in order to gain the needed reliability required in a cell phone.

Took away too many features

Yoshi · 12 days ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Thought I was upgrading from a s5 but really downgraded. Lost key features that I loved like the aux port, micro SD slot, ir blaster, and the ability to swap out a dead battery with a full one. Now I gotta wait while it charges. Also starting s6 and up they got way to fragile with the s21 being the best one since the s5. Thank God it's atleast a plastic back. Also I couldn't even use my phone for 3 days until I was able to buy a charger block. Why on earth would samsung give you a cable with no block??

The Samsung Galaxy J series does not currently have another model ahead of the J3. We currently have the S series and A series Samsung Galaxy phones, and the A51 A21 and A11 are all comparable models to the previous J3 model.
