I use my phone for a lot of photo restoration and editing. I LOVE it so far! Set up was quick and easy. The fingerprint scanner being on the side (same button as power button) is a GAME CHANGER! Unlocking is so much easier, no checking your screen to make sure you've got the icon covered. I haven't explored all the amazing options yet but what I have found is pretty cool! Can't wait to see what else I discover!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that I switched back to Samsung with the Zfold8. This phone is by far the best technology I have purchased in the last 10 years. Everytime I pick it up and turn it on I get excited to use it. The form factor on the outside display alone is what made me chose this phone. Perfect aspect ratio. I look at other phones now and they all seem uncomfortably long. Media consumption on this phone is premium. Being able to view it on the outside display and with a quick open to a larger display is truly game changing. I love this device and will be sticking with samsung phones for now on.

The Perfect Size and Shape

It's a small compact phone when needed and a tablet when not. It's light enough weight to make using both modes so incredibly enjoyable. I actually end up using both screens all the time! Opened up is incredible for gaming. On such a thin device the thing is unreal. For video it's fantastic too. The big screen in my hands or propping up the small screen with it flexed part way open. It's so versatile. The matte coating is a huge upgrade too making the hinge hard to see at all. I'm incredibly happy with the Z Fold 8. I like how you can buy multiple case colors too and mix and match!

Upgrading from a Z Flip 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved my Z Flip 7 but damage to the screen made it necessary to find a new phone. I chose the Z Fold8 over the Z Fold 8 Ultra because of its more compact size. Using the phone flipped open to respond to emails while holding the phone is a bit awkward so have ordered a grip/stand add-on to use on the MagSafe case I have put on the phone. However, being able to respond to emails and have full functionality on the external screen is a huge benefit over the functionality of the external screen on the Z Flip 7, such that opening the phone to use the large internal screen may only be needed when accessing media - for which the stand which has been ordered will be quite handy.

My carrier was doing a great pre sale trade in so I got the z fold 8 in the base 256g. The form factor is perfect for me. The size feels like my old blackberry. When I open it up it's a tablet. I'm in sales and readband sign a lot of contracts. The big main screen is the perfect size and it has made my old tablet obsolete. It allows me to do many things that would require my laptop previously. My only gripe is it isn't S Pen comparable. Maybe at some point Samsung will bring back that functionality. But even if they don't, this phone is great.
