Customize Your Home ScreenPersonalizing the Home screen on your Apple® iPad® makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From the App Library, touch and hold an app.
- Drag-and-drop the app onto the preferred Home screen.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapEditthen tapAdd Widget.
- Tap the desired widget.
- Swipe right or left to select the desired style.
- Touch and hold the widget.
- Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., My Verizon).
- Drag-and-drop the app onto another app (e.g., Gmail) to create a folder.
- Do one of the following:
- To rename the folder:
- Tap the folder.
- Tap theTitle barat the top of the open folder.
- Enter a name then tapDone.
- To remove a folder:
- Drag the apps out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, app, etc.).
- Do one of the following:
- To remove an app:
- TapRemove App.
- TapRemove from Home Screento move the app to the App Library.
- To remove a widget:
- TapRemove Widget.
- To confirm, tapRemove.
Set Wallpaper
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Select one of the following options (e.g., Photos, Photo Shuffle, etc.).
- Tap the desired photo or wallpaper, or if available, swipe left for more tints and styles.
- TapAdd.
- TapSet as Wallpaper PairorCustomize Home Screen.
