Turn Automatic App Restore On / Off - LG G Pad™ X8.3

Here's info on backing up and restoring app data on your LG G Pad X8.3.
  • 'Automatic restore' allows backed up settings and data to be automatically restored when an app is reinstalled.
  • When attempting to determine whether a third-party app is the cause of an operating system / app issue, ensure 'Automatic restore' is turned off prior to performing a factory data reset.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps icon Apps menu icon
    Settings
    Backup & reset
    .
  2. Ensure that
    Back up my data
     is on.
    If necessary:
    • Tap the
      Back icon
       Back icon (upper-left) to return to the previous screen.
    • Tap the
      switch
       to turn on Switch on .
    • Tap
      Back up my data
       .
  3. Tap
    Automatic restore
     to turn on or off.
    On when a check mark is present.
