Insert / Remove SIM Card - LG G Pad X8.3

Here's how to properly insert or remove a SIM card for your G Pad X8.3.
  • Don't attempt to insert/remove the SIM card while your LG G Pad™ X8.3 is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and/or the device.
  • Don't modify or alter your SIM card. Refer to these additional SIM card do's and don'ts.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Open the SIM access door (located on the upper right edge with the screen facing down).
    Utilizing the notch underneath door, lift then rotate the door cover.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Insert SIM card
      Press in on the card in until it clicks into place.
      Insert SIM animation
    • Remove SIM card
      Press in on the card to unlatch then remove.
      Remove SIM animation
  4. Re-align the SIM access door then gently press it into place.
