Manage Hotspot Settings - LG G Pad X8.3

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your LG G Pad X8.3.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     on your LG G Pad™ X8.3.
  2. Navigate:
    More
    Mobile Hotspot
    Set Up Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Configure the following then tap
    Save
    .
    • Wi-Fi name (SSID)
    • Hide my tablet
    • From the Security drop down menu select either Open or WPA2 PSK.
    • Password
      1. Tap the
        Password field
        .
      2. Enter the preferred password.
        Password must be at least 8 characters.
        The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
    • From the Max users dropdown menu, select the maximum number of hotpot users (1-10).
  4. Tap
    Show advanced options
    .
  5. From the Broadcast channel Dropdown menu select the appropriate channel (Auto, 1 - 11), then tap
    Save
