Manage Data Usage - LG G Pad™ X8.3

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your LG G Pad X8.3.
  • Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website.
    For Business Customer data, visit My Business.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.
  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Apps
     Apps icon (at the bottom).
  2. From the Apps tab, tap
    Settings
     Settings icon.
  3. Tap
    Data Usage
     then do any of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. From the Data usage cycle field, tap the
        Dropdown menu
         Drop down menu icon (on the right).
      2. Tap
        Change cycle
        .
      3. From the Usage cycle reset date screen, adjust the date of each month as desired then tap
        Set
        .
        Refer to the My Verizon website for the billing cycle date.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange warning line.
      1. Tap
        Alert me about data usage
         to enable or disable.
        Enabled when a checkmark is present.
      2. If presented with a Data usage alert message, tap
        OK
        .
      3. Drag the
        orange warning line
         to the desired level (e.g., 1.8GB) then release.
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile / cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue to utilize apps dependent upon a data connection (e.g. Browser, Email, etc.), Wi-Fi can be used or mobile data must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
      1. Tap
        Limit mobile data usage
         to enable or disable.
        Enabled when a checkmark is present.
      2. If presented, review the message then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Drag the
        red limit line
         to the desired level (e.g., 2.0GB) then release.
