Uninstall Apps - LG G Pad™ X8.3

Here's how to remove or delete apps if your G Pad X8.3 is unresponsive, freezes or an app won't open.
  • Apps included with the Android™operating system may not have an uninstall option.
    Some apps that can't be uninstalled can be disabled (disabling apps may cause related apps to malfunction).
  • If uninstalling an app update, ensure auto-update is disabled for the specified app until the issue is resolved with the developer.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps icon Apps icon
    Settings
    Application manager
     (Device section).
  2. Locate then select the app name (e.g., Sky Map).
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To uninstall the app:
      1. Tap
        UNINSTALL
         .
      2. Tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • To uninstall app updates:
      This option is only available when an update has been installed.
      1. Tap 
        Menu
         Menu icon (upper-right).
      2. Tap
        Uninstall updates
         .
      3. Tap
        OK
         to confirm.
