Change Network Mode - MiFi® 4G LTE Global USB Modem U620L

If your Global USB Modem U620L drops data connections due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.
  2. Click
    Settings

  3. From the Network tab, click the Preferred Network Technology
    dropdown menu
    .
  4. Click the applicable setting:
    • Global
    • LTE/CDMA Mode
    • GSM/UMTS Mode
  5. If applicable, click the Manual Network Selection
    dropdown menu
    .
  6. Select the applicable setting:
    The preferred international carrier is automatically selected. You can manually tap an alternate carrier but it may require as many as 6 registration attempts with that carrier before successful registration.
    • GSM/UMTS Dual
    • GSM Only
    • UMTS Only
  7. Click
    Save Changes
     located in the lower right; may require scrolling to the bottom.
