Manually Pair to iPhone

It may be necessary to manually pair your Apple Watch® to your iPhone® if the automatic pairing process doesn't work or if you're setting up a new device.

Steps

  1. Press and hold the
    Side button
     until the Apple logo displays.
  2. From the connected iPhone, open the
    Watch app
    .
  3. Tap
    Start Pairing
     on the iPhone then confirm a pairing animation appears on the watch.
  4. From the iPhone, tap
    Pair Apple Watch Manually
    .
  5. From the Watch, tap the
    Info icon
    .
  6. From the iPhone, tap the Apple Watch that corresponds to the name displayed on your Apple Watch.
  7. From the iPhone, enter the 6-digit code that displays on the Watch.
