Manually update your inbox, calendar, contacts, etc. to stay up to date on your info. You can also adjust sync settings on your Apple® iPhone® to keep up with your email in real time.

Before you begin

Fetch New Data is a feature that allows you to select how often your Apple iPhone checks for new data. Push is a feature that's only available with certain accounts that automatically push data to the device.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    Mail
    Mail Accounts
    .
  3. Tap
    Fetch New Data
    .
  4. Tap the
    Push switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. Tap an account then select a schedule option (Push, Fetch or Manual).
  6. Tap the
    Back arrow
     to return to the previous page.
  7. Select a frequency option (e.g., Automatically, Manually, etc.).
