With the Maps app on your Apple® iPhone®, you can get turn-by-turn directions, discover points of interest and easily plan routes and explore your surroundings.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Maps app
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To find your current location, tap the
      Location icon
      .
    • To add layers to the map:
      1. Tap the
        Map icon
        .
      2. Select the desired layer (e.g., Explore, Driving, etc.).
    • To find driving directions:
      1. From the Search Maps bar, enter the destination address then tap
        Directions
        .
      2. The default starting point is your current location. If desired, tap
        My location
         and change the From address.
      3. Choose the mode of transportation (e.g., Drive, Walk, etc.).
      4. Tap
        Go
         then follow the directions.
