Navigating recently-used apps lets you quickly resume tasks or free up unused operating memory on your Apple® iPhone®.

iPhone without a Home button

From a Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause near the middle of the screen until all open app cards appear.

Do any of the following

To open an app, scroll to then tap the desired apps on the list.

To close an app, scroll through the list of apps then swipe up on the app.

From a Home screen, quickly press the

twice then swipe the

left or right to view the list of apps.
