Turning the AirDrop feature on or off controls the visibility of your Apple® iPhone® and the ability to send or receive files. This allows you to manage who can share content with your device.

Before you begin

Turning on AirDrop automatically turns on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    General
    AirDrop
    .
  3. Select the AirDrop setting:
    • Receiving Off
    • Contacts Only
    • Everyone for 10 Minutes
