Manage Siri Settings

To make Siri® work best for you, explore its settings on your Apple® iPhone®. You can adjust options for language, voice and how it interacts with locked screens.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Siri
    Requests
    .
  3. Tap
    Talk to Siri
     then select one of the following:
    • "Siri" or "Hey Siri"
    • "Hey Siri"
    • Off
  4. Tap the
    Press Side Button for Siri switch
     to turn on or off.
    For iPhones with a Home button, tap the
    Press Home for Siri switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. Tap the
    Back arrow
     to return to the Siri screen.
  6. Tap the preferred option (i.e., Language, Voice, etc.) to manage additional settings.
  7. Tap
    Suggestions
     then tap any of the following options (e.g., Show Suggestions, Show in Look Up, etc.) to turn or off.
  8. Tap
    Try Siri AI (Beta)
     to join the waitlist for a new version of Siri.
