Learning to use FaceTime® lets you easily connect with friends and family via video or audio calls. It's a convenient way to stay in touch directly from your Apple® iPhone®.

Place a FaceTime Call

Open the

FaceTime app

Tap the

New Call

Do one of the following:

Enter the name, email address or number then tap

To access contacts, tap the

Plus icon

then select the desired contact.

To use Group FaceTime on iPhone 6s or newer, repeat step 3 to add multiple contacts to the list.

Select the FaceTime call option:

To place an audio call, tap the

Phone icon

To place a video call, tap

FaceTime

Accept a Request

When receiving a FaceTime request, perform one of the following actions:

When the phone is locked, tap the

Phone icon

then slide to answer.

When the phone is unlocked, tap

To end the FaceTime session, tap

End
