One Talk T41S/SW & T42S IP Desk Phones
Set Up Wi-Fi

Connect your One Talk T41S/SW or T42S IP desk phone to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Before you begin

In order to connect to a Wi-Fi network, a compatible USB Wi-Fi adapter (WF40 or WF50) must be inserted.
The WF50 USB Wi-Fi adapter:
  • is included with the T41SW model and sold separately for T41S and T42S models.
  • supports connecting to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
  • is not compatible with previous One Talk desk phone models.

Steps

  1. From the idle screen, navigate:
    Menu
    Settings
    Basic
    Wi-Fi
    .
  2. Use the
    Switch soft key
     or
    left and right arrow keys
     to turn Wi-Fi on then press
    Save
    .
    The phone automatically searches for available networks.
    If no networks appear, press
    Scan
    .
  3. Using the
    up and down arrow keys
    , select the preferred network then press
    Connect
    .
  4. If prompted, use the keypad to enter the Wi-Fi password then press
    OK
    .
