KYOCERA Cadence LTE - Set Up Phone Lock

Here's how to set up a lock PIN on your Cadence.
The Phone Lock feature helps prevent unauthorized use of the device by disabling outbound data and making calls. The device can still receive calls and place emergency 911 calls.
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu

    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

    Settings settings icon

    Phone settings

  3. Select
    Security
    .
  4. Select
    Screen lock type.
  5. Choose the preferred screen lock type then select
    OK
     :
    • None
    • PIN
      PIN lock code must be 4 digits.
    • Password
      Password lock code must be 4 characters.
  6. Select
    Next
    .
  7. Select
    Confirm lock code
    .
    Screen locks automatically. You are prompted to put in your lock code to access your phone. To enter your lock code, press the
    right soft key softkey
    then enter your lock code.
    The default code is the last 4 digits of the mobile number or 1111.
