KYOCERA Cadence LTE - Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your Cadence.
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

  2. Navigate:
    Tools & Settings
    Settings
    Wireless & Networks.
    .
  3. Select
    Emergency Alerts
    .
  4. Press the
    left soft key
     to choose Settings.
  5. Select
    Receive alerts
    .
  6. Select an alert by adding a checkmark checkmark icon then select
    Done
    .
    Presidential alerts can't be turned off.
    • Extreme alerts
    • Severe alerts
    • AMBER alerts
  7. Select
    Cellbroadcast message
     , choose
    Set
     to select On or Off.
  8. Select from the following, configure as preferred then select
    Set
     :
    • Notification settings
      • On
      • Off
    • Sound
      • On
      • Off
    • Vibrate
      • On
      • Off
    • Alert Reminders
      • Once
      • Every 2 min
      • Every 15 min
      • Off
    • Speak alert message
      • On
      • Off
  9. Press the
    End key
     to return to the Menu.
  10. Navigate:
    Tools & Settings
    Settings
    .
  11. Select
    Sounds settings
     , select
    Emergency Tone
    , highlight an option then select
    OK

    • Silent
    • Alert
    • Vibrate
