Steps

Open the

Messages app

Tap

New Message icon

Tap

Add Contact

then select an option:

To select from your list of contacts, tap the

Add Contact icon

To enter a phone number, tap the

Dialpad icon

To search for a contact or to dictate a phone number, tap the

Microphone icon

Tap

Create Message

then dictate, type or scribble your message

Tap

Done

then tap
